Behaviour & Rewards

We promote good behaviour by use of praise and rewards. Pupils can gain House Points towards reward activities and trips. We send home regular notes with pupils who are working/ behaving well to enable parents to help them share this. Certificates are given out in assemblies weekly, and class prizes in the summer.

If children do misbehave, we aim to work with them to correct that behaviour. However, if this continues, they may have to work in another classroom for a short while or be sent to a member of the leadership team. Missed learning may be made up in ‘make up’ time at the start of the lunch hour.

We have implemented a bespoke behaviour system. We encourage all our pupils to achieve a green, silver or gold smile!
