CONSULTATION ON THE PROPOSAL TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE THE NURSERY PROVISION AT QUEENSWAY INFANT ACADEMY 

The Inspiration Trust would like to inform you of a proposal to temporarily close the nursery provision at Queensway Infant Academy.

Queensway Infant Academy Change of Age Range Consultation Letter

The Inspiration Trust would like to invite you to give your feedback on the proposed change by sending your response to: 

• Completing the online response form found HERE or
• Emailing: governance@inspirationtrust.org quoting ‘Queensway Infant Academy Nursery Closure’ in the subject header or
• Writing to: Company Secretary, Inspiration Trust, Weights & Measures Building, 28 Bethel Street, Norwich, Norfolk, NR2 1NR

The closing date for responses is Monday 23rd June 2025.

Once the consultation closes the responses will be considered carefully by the Board of Trustees. If the Inspiration Trust decide to proceed with the closure of the nursery, then a formal request will be made to the Department for Education for their approval before anything is actioned.

Recent Consultations

Following the recent consultation to amalgamate Queensway Infant Academy and Queensway Junior Academy, the Inspiration Trust Board of Trustees have decided not to proceed with an application to the DfE to amalgamate Queensway Infant Academy and Queensway Junior Academy.
